Yardi is a powerful Property Management Software that provides communities control over their leasing, maintenance, accounting, and other general community functions for site teams. Integrating Yardi with SmartRent provides an even more powerful experience for property managers and service technicians by allowing them to gain access throughout the community quickly and easily. It also provides an easier and more efficient workflow for granting access to new residents and their guests.

Follow these steps to set up your Yardi for SmartRent integration:
Install the SmartRent Package from Yardi
Check that your interface plug-ins versions matches one of the following sets:
Version A:
Voyager 7S with Interfaces Plugin v13
Service Requests PIv4
Resident Data PIv13 or higher
Version B:
6008 baseline Interfaces Plug-in v21
Service Requests PIv7
Resident Data PIv3.1
For communities with Self-Guided Tours, the following plugins are also required:
Interfaces Plug-in v19
Interfaces ILS Guest Card Plug-in v18
Interfaces Common Data PIv15
Interfaces Service Requests PIv12
Set up SmartRent as a standard interface vendor in Yardi Voyager with your live database:
For Prospects and Tours, enable Export all guest cards, ignore interface association and Update prospect agent when vendor imports event
For residents, units, and work orders, enable Export excluded units, Export employee email address, and Export employee phone numbers
Setting up the Communities in Yardi:
Each community you want within the SmartRent system must be included and set up in the interface in order to come through the API.
For Prospects at the property level (ILS Guest Card Configuration), select SmartRent Self-Guided Tours
For residents, units, and work orders (Service Request Configuration), select SmartRent
Setting Up SmartRent for Yardi:
To integrate Yardi with SmartRent, follow these steps:
Click Settings in the top bar menu
Click Imports in the left side bar menu
Click the Organization Credentials link under the Yardi Integration section
Click Add New Credential in the upper right-hand corner
Choose Yardi from the Provider dropdown menu
Enter a name for the credential set
Input the Voyager URL (Ensure there is a " / " at the end of the URL, example: https://www.yardiasp14.com/44534SmartRent/)
Enter your Username
Enter your Password
Enter the Database Server (same as Database Name)
Enter Database Name
If you are utilizing different sets of Yardi credentials for Guest Card, Resident, and/or Service Requests, please take the following actions:
Set Apply to All Interfaces slider to the Off position
Enter additional Voyager URL, Username, Password, Server Name, and Database Name as necessary
You can have the same set of credentials in two interfaces, such as having Credential Set 1 for Resident and Service Requests, and Credential Set 2 for Guest Card
Click Save
