Once you have integrated Yardi with SmartRent, SmartRent will begin syncing unit, resident, work order, prospect, and tour data. If you have not yet integrated with Yardi, check out our How Do I Set Up the Yardi and SmartRent Integration? article for more details.

When Prospect Data is Synced:
When the prospect completes the contact information page on selftournow.com or is manually added in SmartRent
We will attempt to sync this data as a guest card into Yardi but if the guest card already exists, we will look to update it if any of their information has changed
We will sync a prospect record as soon as we capture the first name, last name, and email address in real time
We will add an event type of first contact when we initially add the prospect record
We will also pass in Portal as the agent name so this correctly shows up in the RentCafe CRM queue
SmartRent will also pass through SmartRent as the <TransactionSource> in the event import
We recommend choosing Portal as the agent name as this will show up in the unreviewed queue in RentCafe
This source name will need to be set up in Voyager
Along with the first contact, we will also sync the event date
Tour:
Appointment Event
Appointment Date/Time
Units Scheduled To Tour
Viewed Access Code (SmartRent inserts a Show event)
Show Event Date/Time
When Tour Data Is Synced:
When a prospect schedules a tour
We will sync an appointment event alongside the appointment date and time
We will sync the units scheduled to tour
The appointment should end up in the Unreviewed queue if the agent name is set to Portal and the event will show on the Yardi CRM calendar
When a prospect is on property and has viewed the access code
We will sync another event type attached to that prospect labeled as a Show event
We will sync the activity Date and Time
