SmartRent Manager 10.05.22
Features
Updated Resident Dashboard Permission - Users with View Residents permissions can now view the Resident Dashboard. When a user clicks on the Reports tab, they will see an aggregate report of their assigned properties. Users can also filter by any of their assigned properties. This provides better customization and flexibility for enabling/disabling visibility of our dashboards.
Organization Administrators can still view the Resident Dashboard for all properties within the organization.
Resident Mobile App 3.2.0 (Released 9/28/22)
Features
Customized Device-Only WiFi Experience for Residents - We have updated the network setup experience for residents living in communities with community WiFi. These residents no longer see the in-app prompt to connect to WiFi. This is unnecessary since their devices were connected to the community WiFi at install. Residents in communities that relied on cellular service at install will continue to see the prompt.
Livly Link Added to the Marketplace - Livly focuses on providing resident experiences like booking amenities and coordinating community events. SmartRent residents that have Livly at their community can now access their Livly account directly through a link in the Marketplace section of the SmartRent app. This provides a more streamlined experience for residents as they will no longer have to switch between two apps.
Text Wrapping for Unit Names - We display the resident’s unit name when the resident has more than one home. We have added text wrapping so that residents with longer unit names can view the full name and not have it truncated. This provides a more personalized experience for residents.
Bug Fixes
Activity Filter Displaying An Unnecessary X - This fixes an issue where an “X” mark appeared twice when residents tried to delete events from their Activity Feed. Only one “X” mark is displayed now.
Device Status Icons Don’t Match Actual State - This fixes an issue where the icons did not accurately display the status of the device in the Activity Feed. Now the icon and text both show the correct status of the device as expected.
Unnecessary Validation Error When Creating a Temporary Guest Code - Residents must provide a Start Date and End Date when creating a Temporary Guest Code. This fixes an issue where residents would enter an End Date for a Temporary Guest Code that met the community’s parameters but were still being shown an error notification. Fortunately, they could still proceed with issuing the code. Residents are no longer shown the validation error when they enter a valid End Date.
Number of Salto Guest Access Passes Remaining Is Not Accurate - Communities can limit the number of Guest Access Passes a resident can issue. This fixes an issue where the number of Guest Access Passes available was not updating and causing confusion. The number of available passes displayed now decreases each time a new pass is issued.
