  • Reports: Access reports such as IRS acknowledgments, extension reports, accepted/rejected returns, and more.

  • Transmissions: The section where tax returns are transmitted.

  • Import Returns: Import desktop tax returns by dragging and dropping files or browsing for the return file.

3. Client Status

This section allows you to check the status of tax returns. Features include:

  • Viewing and printing returns.

  • Accessing scanned document archives.

  • Emailing clients a copy of their return.

  • Checking the TaxesToGo chat history.

  • Identifying reasons for return rejections.

4. IRS Website

A direct link to IRS.gov for the latest updates and important tax-related information.

5. e-File Opt-Out Form

This section provides access to Form 8948, which must be completed for non-eFile returns, specifying the reason for non-electronic filing.

6. IRS Mailing Addresses

A reference page listing all mailing addresses for non-eFile returns.

7. IRS Publications, Instructions, and Fill-in Forms

A knowledge base containing tax publications, form instructions, and detailed explanations of tax forms.

8. Refund Calculator

A tool that estimates refunds based on data inputs. It provides a "What If" mode to simulate different tax scenarios before filing.
