The Navigation Menu appears at the top of every page of your website. It contains all pages on your website to help your visitors navigate from page to page.
Step 1 - Access Your Pages Dashboard
Click the "Website" Tab on the side menu to see the Pages Dashboard.
Step 2 - Review Your Existing Pages
By default, Sociavore Theme Templates contains pre-selected page templates which you can hide, un-hide, delete, or add new ones.
Review the list of existing pages, then decide which pages you'd like to make available on the website and which ones should be removed.
Step 2 - Add Pages (optional)
At the top of the list of pages, you can add an external link, a dropdown, a call to action button, and a new page as part of the website's navigation menu.
Add an External Link
Click "Add a Link"
Enter a page name
Paste in the page link
Add a Dropdown
Click "Add a dropdown"
Enter a Page Title, then click "Add"
Drag pages you'd like to appear on the dropdown menu
Add a Call to Action Button
Click "Add Action"
Enter a Page Title, then click "Add"
Drag pages you'd like to appear on the dropdown menu
Add a Page Template
Click "Add a Page"
Select the type of page you want to add
Give your page a name
Step 3 - Make Your Pages Visible
Public - The page is visible on your website
Private - This "hides" the page from the navigation menu. However, when someone goes to the link of that page, they can see the content on that page. In other words, the page is available publicly but only to those who have the URL of that page.
Draft - This removes the page from the navigation menu. If someone goes to the link of that page, it will not show any content. In other words, that page is completely inaccessible publicly.
Click the 3-dot menu if you want to delete or rename.
Step 5 - Re-Arrange the Order of the Pages
The pages on the navigation menu are arranged based on the order you see on the Pages Dashboard in the app. Simply drag a page and drop it in the order you want the pages to be displayed on the navigation menu.
