Customize the look and feel of your Menu Page and Individual Menus

Updated over a week ago

After creating your menus, all visible menus are displayed automatically on the Menus Page. To make edits and adjustments to your Menus Page, click the "Website" tab on the left sidebar.

Step 1 - Add Your Menus

Click the [Add icon] to add or create menu content or select which menus you want displayed on the website.

This will open the Menu Dashboard, where you can add menus or select existing ones. Make sure to make the menu visible to show up on your website.

Once it's visible, the menu should show up as a subcategory under the Menu Pages. If you have more than one menu, it will appear as a dropdown on your website.

Step 2 - Customize the Page

Click the [customize page] icon of the main menu. This will open the page editor.

If you don't see the Menu section (not the one on top) in the Content Tab, click [Add Section] and select [Menu]. Otherwise, click the Menu section at the bottom to see the customization options.

Note: Some of these customizations may not be available on some themes.

Background Image

  • Upload a background image

  • Adjust the transparency of the image; increasing the transparency will make the image appear darker.

  • Select from the options: left, center, or right alignment

  • Check off the box to hide the menu title

Notes:

  • For "Regular Menus," you can enable or disable this feature.

Online Ordering Settings

These settings apply to Online Ordering Menus only.

Menu Layout Type

You can choose from three layout options: Landscape, Square, or Portrait photos.

Landscape Photos

  • A maximum of 3 menu items are displayed per row.

  • Menu item information and image are displayed side by side.

Square Photos

  • A maximum of 4 menu items are displayed per row.

  • Menu item information is displayed below the image.

Portrait Photos

  • A maximum of 4 menu items are displayed per row.

Order Date Button

When enabled, a button will be displayed at the menu navigation bar. The fulfillment type, date, and time will be displayed on the button.

Current Day Ordering Time Notice

When enabled, Pickup and Delivery schedules will be displayed below the menu navigation bar.

All Menus Slider

By default, menus are displayed on your website's navigation menu through a dropdown button. By enabling the All Menus or Multi-Menu Slider, you can display multiple menus on the same page so your customers can toggle from one menu to another without accessing the dropdown button from the main navigation bar.

To enable this feature, you must set up overlapping pickup and delivery hours for at least 2 Menus. Here is a tutorial on How to Enable the Multi-Menu Slider.

When enabled, 2 additional options to view and choose a menu will be displayed:

1. Cover Image of Each Menu

Customers can select a menu by simply clicking a menu image.

2. Menus Icon on the Menus Navigation Bar

When clicked, a window that displays the cover image of each menu pops up. Customers can also select a menu by clicking a menu image.

Tableside Modal Settings

These settings apply to Tableside Ordering Menus only.

When a customer uses tableside ordering, a modal pops up where he needs to enter his table number before he can order.

To customize the settings, you can:

  • Upload a background image

  • Upload a logo

  • Adjust logo width

  • Adjust the transparency of the image overlay. (Increasing the transparency will make the image appear darker.)

  • Enter tableside modal title

  • Input placeholder

  • Enter tableside modal button text

All Menu Links

Optionally, if you want to provide a 1-page link with all your menus, simply append the URL of your website like this: yourwebsite.com/menus

When people go to that URL, a link to all your active menus is displayed on that page.
