Settings

The Settings menu allows access to some of the more intricate options related to signing in, account security, and notifications; it's also where you'll find the ability to change the language default on your app.

Password Change

Password Change allows setting a new password for your personal login; passwords must be at least 8 characters long, and include upper case and lower case letters, a symbol, and a number.

Notifications

Push & Email notifications keep you up to date on what's happening with you Social Media

The leftmost tab within the SocioConnect app will list any open notifications for your accounts.

From within the Settings menu you can access Notification settings - here you can deactivate any that don't concern you on a regular basis, helping you focus on what's important.

Security

Multi-factor authentication (MFA), also known as two-factor authentication (2FA), provides an extra layer of security for your account. It requires users to give more than one form of identification to verify their identity when logging in. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access, even if your password is compromised.

If MFA is mandatory on the brand account you work with, you will be required to set it up at the time of your first login. On-screen instructions should lead you through activating a QR code on your device - but if you run into any trouble just hit the Help button in your app and our support team will be happy to assist you.

If you haven't yet activated MFA, this can be done from the Settings menu, just switch the setting to On and the on-screen prompts will help you set up a verification code.

Logout From All Social Networks

The "Logout From All Social Networks" button is a useful tool if you're having problems connecting new channels to the app, or reconnecting existing channels after an error.

This button instructs the SocioConnect app to forget any social media accounts you've previously attempted to link using your current device, meaning the next to you attempt to Add or Reconnect a channel the app will search your device for new social logins.

Language

The language button within your settings menu will allow you to select the default language for your app.
