Sending Posts for Approval

As a SocioCommand User, I want to approve posts created by my team members before they are scheduled.

To aid with internal reviews of content before it moves to scheduled, you can have teammates add Reviewers under the Approval section of the Create a Post screen.

While creating a post, you can add a reviewer under the Approval section, located behind the (...) three dots icon. In this field, just type the name of the person who will be reviewing your posts before they go live.

This sends an in-app notification to your team member to review the post; it will then be scheduled.

To find the posts you've sent for approval that are pending approval or rejected, you can do so by clicking the "My Posts" tab. Here you'll see those posts with their current status listed in a grid view.

Approving a Post as a Reviewer:

  • Posts sent to you for approval can be found in the "Approvals" tab. Here you'll find a grid view of all the posts sent to you for approval.

  • Hovering over any post and clicking the view option will enlarge the post and present a comment box.

  • Here you can enter your feedback and click "Return for Fixes" to send it back to your teammate.

  • If there's no feedback to give, click approve. This will then schedule the post for the date and time selected by your teammate.
