Not always: if TikTok lets you leave some access off, only the Soco features that use that data stop working.
What Soco uses your TikTok access for
TikTok writes the permission names and descriptions on its authorization screen, not Soco. Soco uses your TikTok access to:
Add and manage products in your showcase when you use Soco's link features, like switching to a higher-commission link you choose in Link Finder.
Show your collaborations, sample applications and brand invites.
Create your affiliate links from inside Soco.
Read your own videos and their data, so the Creator Dashboard can show which videos your sales came from. Soco has no feature that posts videos or any other content to your TikTok account.
What happens if some TikTok access is off
Any Soco feature that relies on TikTok access you've left off stays unavailable. Soco can't read data you haven't given it access to, so the feature has nothing to work from. Without access to your videos, for example, the rest of the Creator Dashboard works, but the parts built on your videos stay empty.
Give Soco TikTok access you left off
To give Soco access you left off, reconnect your TikTok account:
Log out of TikTok.
Log back into the correct TikTok account.
Reauthorize Soco and follow the steps on TikTok's screen.
You'll know it worked when the Soco features that were unavailable work again. Data can take a little while to show, because Soco syncs your data from TikTok periodically.
