No, Soco has no feature that posts videos or any other content to your TikTok account. TikTok groups all access to your videos under posting, including access that only reads them.
Why Soco asks for TikTok's posting access
TikTok doesn't offer separate access that only reads your videos, so Soco asks for its posting access. Soco uses it to read your own videos and their data. That's how the Creator Dashboard shows which videos your sales came from and how each video performs.
If TikTok says you're responsible for content you post
TikTok writes every permission name and description on its authorization screen, not Soco. If TikTok's screen says you're responsible for content you post, that's TikTok's standard text for posting access, shown to every app that asks for it. Soco has no feature that posts videos or any other content to your TikTok account.
If you leave TikTok's posting access off
If TikTok lets you connect without its posting access, the rest of the Creator Dashboard keeps working. The parts built on your videos, like which videos your sales came from, stay empty without it. How to give Soco that access later is in Do I need to accept all TikTok permissions for Soco to work?.
Remove Soco's access to your TikTok account
You can remove Soco's access to your TikTok account at any time, inside the TikTok app. The steps are in How to fully unlink your TikTok account from Soco. Once you unlink, Soco stops reading your TikTok data.
