Why don't my Creator Dashboard numbers match TikTok?

Your Creator Dashboard numbers come from TikTok Shop, and a gap usually comes from unsettled earnings, sync timing, the date range or refunds in GMV.

Written by Basel from Soco

Your Creator Dashboard numbers come from your TikTok Shop data, so they should match your own TikTok Shop dashboards. When a number doesn't match, check these first:

  • Total GMV (gross merchandise value) on the Creator Dashboard counts refunded and cancelled orders, the same way TikTok reports GMV, so it reads higher than the sales you kept.

  • Earnings are estimates until TikTok settles the orders.

  • Soco syncs your data from TikTok periodically, not live.

  • The dashboard shows the date range you picked, so compare the same dates in TikTok.

  • Creator Finder's GMV always covers the last 30 days, not the range you picked.

Total GMV on the Creator Dashboard counts refunded and cancelled orders

On the Creator Dashboard, Total GMV (gross merchandise value) includes orders that were later refunded or cancelled, the same way TikTok reports GMV. So it reads higher than the sales you kept. More on how TikTok counts GMV is in What is the difference between GMV and Direct GMV?

Earnings on the Creator Dashboard are estimates until TikTok settles

Earnings on the Creator Dashboard are estimates until TikTok settles the orders. TikTok settles them, not Soco. A settled amount can differ from the estimate, for example when an order is refunded before it settles. So a recent order's earnings can change after you first see them.

Creator Dashboard data syncs from TikTok periodically

Soco syncs your Creator Dashboard data from TikTok periodically rather than live. A recent order can show in TikTok before it shows in Soco, so small timing differences between the two are expected.

Compare the same date range in the Creator Dashboard and TikTok

The Creator Dashboard shows the date range you pick, and that one range also applies to a product's or a video's own figures. When you compare a number with TikTok, set TikTok to the same dates first. A different range gives a different total even when both are right.

Creator Finder GMV is a rolling 30 days, not your dashboard range

Creator Finder's GMV columns always cover the last 30 days, while the Creator Dashboard covers the range you pick. So your own GMV in Creator Finder and your dashboard total measure different periods, and the two can differ. What each Creator Finder column means is in What do Video GMV, Live GMV, and Total GMV mean in Creator Finder?

Creator Dashboard video figures are empty

The parts of the Creator Dashboard built on your videos stay empty while Soco doesn't have access to your TikTok videos. Soco reads your videos through that access, so without it there's nothing to show there. The rest of the dashboard works as usual. What Soco uses each kind of access for is in Do I need to accept all TikTok permissions for Soco to work?

Creator Dashboard numbers still don't match TikTok

If a Creator Dashboard number still doesn't match TikTok after these checks, message us in the app chat. Send a screenshot of both screens and the date range you used, and we'll look at it with you.
