I’m being prompted to “buy a pass” when booking a class

Updated over 2 months ago

There are a few reasons why the [solidcore] app may show the option to “buy a pass” when booking an upcoming class. More details about why you may not see the option to use a class credit from your [solidcore] membership or package are listed below.

Your [solidcore] app may be set to the wrong market:

To change switch markets/accounts

  1. Toggle to the "book" tab in the app

  2. Select the profile icon at the top right of the screen

  3. Select your home studio (where you purchased your membership/package) from the drop-down menu

You may have used all class credits from your membership billing cycle or package:

To see how many class credits you have left in the current membership billing cycle and see which classes they went towards

  1. Open the menu bar from the top left of the screen of the app

  2. Select “purchases and packages”

  3. Under “active packages,” you can see the number of class credits remaining from your current membership cycle. To view which classes you took, select “package details”

    1. Note: A credit is used for each spot reserved on the waitlist. These are returned if you do not make it into class from the waitlist, remove yourself from the waitlist, or early cancel a reservation after you've been moved into class from the waitlist. See here for more details about the waitlist.

If you have used all class credits associated with your membership cycle, you can purchase additional classes at a discounted rate in the [solidcore] app when going to book a class. You may consider upgrading your membership plan for the following month! Your studio is happy to make that switch for you or you can email sales@solidcore.co for support.

You may be attempting to book a class in a studio with a higher price point:

Your membership can be used in studios with the same or a lower price point as your home studio. You can find more details about cross-regional booking and what studios you have access to here.

If you are an Unlimited member, you can travel to any studio free of upcharge 2x on a 30-day rolling basis. You can find more information about how to book a class using a travel pass perk here.

You may be attempting to book a class after your package expires:

All packages have an expiration date, which is the last day they can be used to book a class. If you are trying to book past the expiration date, you will be prompted to "buy a pass". For example, if your class package expires on April 16th, you will not be able to use it to book a class on April 17th.

To see when your package expires, go to the left-hand menu in the app and select "purchases/packages". From there, you will see all information about your active and previous packages/membership allotments, including the expiration date, remaining credits, and all associated class bookings.
