How do email booking updates work?

A guide to the automatic email booking updates your clients receive throughout the booking process

Email updates will be sent to your client at different stages throughout the booking process if an email address has been provided.

These updates include:
โ€‹Request:

  • Booking Requested

  • Booking Accepted

  • Booking Declined

  • Booking Cancellation Requested

  • Booking Cancelled

Pre-Booking:

  • Booking Reminder

  • Booking Updated

  • Consultation Reminder

Post-Booking:

  • Booking Completed

Other:

  • Payment Receipt

These emails are automatically sent to all of your clients with a valid email address and cannot be switched off.

Do I have to pay for automatic email booking updates?
No, there is no charge for any booking update emails that are sent to your clients.

To preview an email:

  1. Go to Menu >> Booking System >> Email & SMS updates

  2. Select the update you want to preview

  3. Select edit content beneath email

  4. Then, select the 3 dots top right and click Send test email

  5. Select a booking to preview with your test email. The email will be sent to your email, not the clients email address.

  6. Press Select to send the test email
