How do email booking updates work?

A guide to the automatic email booking updates your clients receive throughout the booking process

Email updates will be sent to your client at different stages throughout the booking process if an email address has been provided.

These updates include:
โ€‹Request:

  • Booking Requested

  • Booking Declined

  • Booking Cancellation Request

  • Booking Cancelled

Pre-Booking:

  • Booking Confirmation

  • Booking Reminder

Post-Booking:

  • Booking Completed

Other:

  • Online Payment Made

These emails are automatically sent to all of your clients with a valid email address and cannot be switched off.

Do I have to pay for automatic email booking updates?
No, there is no charge for any booking update emails that are sent to your clients.

To preview an email:

  1. Go to Menu >> Booking System >> Email updates

  2. Click on the icons with the three dots next to the email type you wish to preview e.g Booking Confirmed

  3. Press Send preview

    This will send you a copy of the email

If you wish to receive a copy of all client email updates to your email address, simply toggle on this option under this settings screen.
