Every tracked Songspace pitch has a unique URL that logs views, plays, and downloads.

Those stats and the pitch attributes you enter can be searched and filtered in the pitch log.

This feature requires either a Creator or Business subscription. To learn more about a Creator or Business subscription, click here.

Creating a tracked pitch link for a playlist folder or multiple songs

Create a pitch from a playlist folder

If you'd like to pitch a playlist folder that you already have in your account, simply open the playlist folder and click the Pitch Playlist button in the toolbar.

A dialog will pop up with several settings and fields. There are 2 extra settings for playlist folders:

  1. Include sub-folders - Turn this setting on if you want the pitch to include any sub-folders. Once the pitch is created, folders have to be managed manually.

  2. Include files - Turn this setting on if you want to include non-audio files in the pitch. This includes images, text documents, and PDFs. Once the pitch is created, these files must be added and removed manually.

Create a pitch from selected songs

You can also pitch multiple songs without having to create a playlist folder to do so. Quickly create a pitch containing multiple songs by command+clicking multiple songs in your catalog and clicking the Pitch songs... action in the toolbar.

Create a custom pitch

The last way in which you can create a pitch for multiple songs is to create a custom pitch. To do this, simply click the orange + button in your catalog and select New pitch...

Once you click Create & Customize, the pitch edit modal will open on the right side of your screen where you can drag & drop any songs you'd like to include into the Songs section. Click here to read more about creating a custom pitch.

Tracked pitch settings

Create or customize

After you've applied the necessary settings and created the link, you can continue customization or copy the link and send it out as is.

  1. Select 'Create & Get Link' to generate the unique URL for the pitch.

  2. Select 'Customize' to open the pitch edit modal and continue working on the pitch.

  3. Select 'Preview' to preview the pitch without adding any stats to it.
