🧐 First thing to know

The way SOPRISM handles the information for import is the same for Lookalikes and Custom audiences. In this article, I will give you some points to check in order to eliminate the potential possible reasons for a "-1" error on the platform.

✅ What to check

❓Does your Lookalike audience have an audience size displayed in your Business Manager?

In cases, your Lookalike or Custom audience does not return any figures in your business manager, this will return an error in the SOPRISM platform. Your imported audience should have an estimated audience reach and should be "ready” within the Business Manager to work successfully within the SOPRISM platform.

❓Is geolocation set up for your lookalike audience?

All audiences require a geolocation in order to be profiled by SOPRISM. In most cases, when creating a Lookalike audience from a Custom, Meta requires you to insert a geolocation in order to create the new audience. However, there are versions of the Business Manager that do not require the insertion of a geolocation to proceed with the creation of a Lookalike audience.
