The Audience Size Indicator is a useful visualisation on the project creation dashboard that’s designed to help you quickly evaluate your target audience's size. By giving you a clear metric, it makes it easier to see whether your audience size is on point or if you might need to tweak things a bit to hit your project goals.

🛠 This indicator is meant to be really practical for you. Imagine you’re working on a project and need to know if your audience size is hitting the mark. The Audience Size Indicator is right there on your dashboard, ready to give you that quick check. And as you adjust your audience, the indicator’s feedback will help you make sure your project is reaching the right number of people for the best insights.

The 4 levels you’ll see:

  • Red means very bad

    • The audience size is under 10k, so it's too small to have qualitative insights, the socio-demographics insights will be good.

    • The audience size is more than 60% of your baseline audience which means it's too big to give you relevants insights.

  • Yellow means bad

    • The audience size is between 10k - 50k or/and 40% - 60% of the baseline audience ; you could run a profiling but keeping in mind that psychographic. insights might not be as relevant as they should be.

  • Blue means good

    • You will have qualitative results but the segments will not be as optimal as they could be.

  • Green means perfect

    • All the insights you will get will be relevant and qualitative.

📚 Here, if you want to read more about the minimum audience size for a qualitative profiling.

Please note

If your audience size can fit into two categories, the percentage rule will decide which color of the indicator you see. For example, if you have an audience size of 75,000 and that’s also 75% of your baseline audience, it’ll show up in the "Red" category.

As you tweak your audience, the indicator will give you real-time feedback, letting you know if things are looking good, need some adjustment, or are just right. This way, you’re always working with the latest info.
