Installation
The SpringBok Tripod utilizes the MagnaSwitch attachment system and as such works with any of the MagnaSwitch adapter. The Springbok Tripod does not include an adapter, and one must be purchased separately and installed on your rifle before use.
Operating Instructions
The SpringBok Tripod was designed with speed and versatility at the forefront. The Tripod can be effortlessly deployed in the field with one hand - which really differentiates it from other tripods on the market.
Set the tripod to your desired shooting height before the hunt.
Release the clip.
Holding one leg of the tripod in one hand with your thumb and middle finger forming a circle, use your index finger to flick the legs out.
Simultaneously push the tripod away from you and then flick it back
After deploying the tripod locate the magnetic spigot head into the MagnaSwitch™ adapter on your rifle or binoculars [gif]
For extra stability grasp the head firmly and twist (clockwise or counterclockwise) [gif].
Attaching and removing the Tripod
To attach the tripod to the rifle, locate the tripod's spigot into the slot on the adapter. The magnet will ease this process and retain the tripod in the adapter. To remove the tripod from the rifle, firmly pull the tripod downwards from the adapter.
Attaching the tripod is effortless and takes seconds. Simply lower the rifle (with a MagnaSwitch adapter preinstalled) onto the magnetic spigot on top of the tripod. The patented magnetic technology will retain the tripod during use. To remove the tripod pull firmly downwards on the tripod - a thumb can be used to pop the rifle off the spigot too.
Positional adjustments
The SpringBok Tripod features an innovative silicone body reinforced with spring steel. This design allows for extremely quick elevation and pitch changes without the need for mechanical adjustments or moving latches.
It's ideal for fast-paced hunts where you might be engaging multiple targets and need to quickly switch from standing, kneeling, seated and even prone positions.
Leg Height Adjustment
Adjusting the leg length couldn't be easier - simply twist counter clockwise to loosen the lock adjust the leg to the desired height and twist clockwise to retighten.
Feet
Each tripod leg is fitted with a steel-tipped aluminium foot - please note these are not compatible with other Spartan foot accessories.
Changing Legs
The legs from the Springbok Tripod can be unscrewed by rotating them anti-clockwise and replaced with any of the Spartan M14 leg options.
