Operating Instructions

Attaching your rifle

To attach your rifle, mount one of our Classic Adapters to your rifle. Simply locate the spigot into the slot on the adapter—the magnet will assist in this process. To remove the rifle from the Hoplite Tripod, firmly pull the rifle upwards from the spigot, using your thumb to push up the underside of the stock if needed.

Attaching your optics
Our range of optics adapters allows you to mount spotting scopes, binoculars, cameras, and other devices with standard 1/4-20 UNC or 3/8-16 UNC threads to your Hoplite Tripod.

Leg Pitch Positions

The Hoplite features multiple leg pitch positions, allowing you to configure the tripod to comfortably adapt to awkward mountain angles. To adjust the leg position, pull out the latch on the shoulder of the leg and move it to the desired angle.

Leg Height Adjustment

The top section features our spring-assisted incrementally adjustable design for fine and quick adjustments. Simply press the button on the upper leg and extend to the desired height. The lower leg uses a twist leg lock for larger height adjustments. Loosen the leg lock with a turn to the left, adjust the leg to the required height, and retighten.

Removing the Legs

The Hoplite uses our M14 thread leg system allowing all legs in the Spartan range to be fitted. Simply turn the legsd anti-clockwise to remove them from the boy of the tripod.

Feet

Each Ascent leg is fitted with a tungsten carbide tip and tethered synthetic boot. Gently pull off the synthetic boot to expose the tungsten tip.
