Our snow baskets are designed to be used with our Ascent Legs to provide additional support, preventing the poles from sinking too deeply into soft soil or snow. For enhanced performance, we suggest using the snow baskets along with our Two Part Foot Spikes.
Installation
Prior to your trip, it is recommended to install the baskets. To do so, follow these steps:
Remove the foot tip from the leg by using an 11mm spanner on the flats of the foot tip.
Place the basket on the base of the leg.
Screw the foot tip back into the leg.
For a secure and reliable installation, we advise applying a small amount of high-strength Loctite when screwing the foot tip back on.
