β
One clean total at checkout β everything included, shown before you pay
β
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Pay by Bank
β
The creator receives their listed price in full, every time
β
Receipt emailed instantly π§
That's the whole vibe. Now the proper details. π―
How to support a creator π―
Step 1: Find their profile
Every creator has a profile at spennypiggy.co/theirusername
You'll usually find the link in their bio on Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube β wherever they're active. QR codes on t-shirts and business cards go straight there too. π±
β οΈ Only ever use their profile link. A DM asking you to pay somewhere else isn't them. π¨
Step 2: Pick how you want to support
π Buy Exclusive Content β instant unlock photos, videos, downloads, bundles
π― Buy into a Content Goal β you get content, and it moves their goal along
π Subscribe to a Membership β monthly support with exclusive perks
π Subscribe to Recurring Content β a defined package on a schedule
π Become a Supporter β ongoing backing with regular content
β
Request a Paid Task β custom shoutout, message, personalised content
π Send a Tip β pure appreciation, nothing unlocked, nothing owed
Pick whichever fits β or do several. The creator sees them all in their dashboard. π
Step 3: Checkout π
One clean total. That's what you pay, and it includes all platform fees and processing costs.
No scary itemised list at the point of paying, no "wait, what's this 30p?" moment. Just one number, like checking out on Uber or Deliveroo. β¨
(Want the full breakdown of where it goes? We publish it β see Fees Explained π§Ύπ·. We just don't shove it in your face mid-checkout.)
Step 4: Pay π³
We accept:
π³ Visa, Mastercard, American Express
π± Apple Pay β one tap on supported devices
π± Google Pay β one tap on supported devices
π¦ Pay by Bank β UK, EU and US
π Stablecoin, for Tips β UK, EU and US
π¦ Use Pay by Bank if you can. Around 9% cheaper for you on a Β£100 purchase, and it clears more reliably than cards. Same money to the creator either way.
β οΈ On larger payments: above Β£1,000, Pay by Bank only. Between Β£250 and Β£1,000 it's recommended, and card is allowed if risk checks pass. High-value card fraud is the biggest chargeback risk there is, and this removes it.
Card payments are processed by Stripe β the same processor behind Amazon, Deliveroo and plenty of companies you already trust. Your card details never touch Spenny Piggy's servers. π
Step 5: Receipt + confirmation π§
Within seconds:
β
Email receipt in your inbox
β
Confirmation on screen with next steps
β
Content unlocked β in your account, or via secure link
β
The creator is notified
One-off payment? You're done. Creator paid, you appreciated. π·β¨
What about the fees? πΈ
Honest question, real answer.
One clean total
You see one number at checkout, and that's the only one that matters to you. It covers the creator's listed price plus all platform and processing costs β shown upfront, before you pay.
What your support pays for
π· The creator β they receive their listed price in full
π‘οΈ A safe, regulated platform β KYC verification, fraud prevention, identity checks on every creator
π Secure payment processing β bank-grade security
π Dispute and refund support
π Real human support
π Multi-currency processing β see prices in your own currency, no scammy exchange rates
It's the cost of running a clean, creator-first platform. π
Why small purchases feel proportionally expensive
Some fees are fixed β a flat Β£1 admin fee and a base processing charge on every transaction, regardless of size.
So a Β£5 purchase carries a much higher effective percentage than a Β£50 one, because that fixed cost is a bigger chunk of a smaller number. True of every platform using card processors. It's just maths. π
Want better efficiency? Bundles, larger one-off purchases and memberships all work out better than lots of tiny ones. But honestly β support generously anyway. Creators love it. π
Do you need an account? π€
For one-off support β content unlocks, Content Goals β no account needed. Guest checkout with just your email.
For memberships, Recurring Content, Become a Supporter and Paid Tasks β yes. You need somewhere to manage billing, see what you're paying for, and cancel whenever you want.
β οΈ Creating an account costs a one-off Β£1. It funds a manual check on your card β a real person confirming your name and address β which stops stolen-card fraud reaching creators. Non-refundable, never repeated. Why the Β£1 fee π³π·
An account also lets you:
β
See all your past support
β
Manage active memberships
β
Update payment methods
β
Re-access purchased content any time
β
See your own spend over the last hour, 24 hours and 7 days, and your current limits π
Refunds and disputes π
How to request a refund
1. Go to the creator's profile, or your receipt email
β2. Click "Contact creator about this purchase"
β3. Submit your request through the form
The creator has 48 hours to respond.
What happens next
π Within 24 hours β the creator sees your request and is sent a reminder
π At 48 hours β if there's no response, it escalates to Spenny Piggy
β
Resolution β the creator refunds, resolves it, or we step in
Why the creator first? They're the merchant on every sale β they sold you the content, so the refund is theirs to handle. They can also see exactly what was delivered and sort it in minutes. π·
When refunds are likely approved β
β
Content wasn't delivered
β
Content didn't match the description
β
Technical issue β failed download, missing access
β
Genuine accidental purchase
When they're unlikely β
β "I changed my mind" after accessing digital content
β "I didn't read the description properly"
β "I didn't realise it was non-refundable"
Digital content is generally non-refundable once accessed β same as most platforms. Read descriptions carefully. β¨
If you do get a refund
The full amount you paid is refunded, including platform fees and processing costs. You don't lose money to fees on a legitimate refund. π
Disputing a charge with your bank π¨
If something has genuinely gone wrong and the contact form hasn't resolved it, you can dispute with your bank. But please try the form first β it's faster, fairer to the creator, and usually sorts it.
β οΈ Chargebacks are taken seriously. We provide evidence β transaction details, delivery proof, timestamps, terms accepted β so banks can make informed decisions.
β οΈ Fraudulent chargebacks hurt creators badly. The money is pulled from their balance immediately, they're charged a dispute fee whether they win or lose, and it counts against their account. If your support was genuine and you've changed your mind, use the refund process.
β οΈ Repeat chargebacks may result in account suspension β for the protection of creators here.
If you suspect actual fraud on your card, contact your bank immediately. We'll cooperate fully on the platform side. π
Privacy and your data π
β
Your email is private β only shared with the creator if you message them or it's needed for delivery
β
Your full payment details never touch Spenny Piggy
β
Your support history is private β visible only to you
β
You can support anonymously β pick "Anonymous" at checkout
β
GDPR compliant β request your data or its deletion any time
What we share with the creator:
π Your display name, or "Anonymous" if you chose it
πΈ The amount you paid
π§ Your email, if you messaged them or it's needed for delivery
π Your country β for tax and compliance, not your full address
That's it. No data selling, no marketing lists, no shady cross-platform tracking. π
Staying safe π‘οΈ
β Every creator here is identity-verified β social account plus passport β before they can receive a penny.
π© Real creators never ask you to pay off-platform. If a DM asks for a bank transfer, gift card, PayPal, or a crypto wallet address β it isn't them. Don't pay, and report it.
π Nobody from Spenny Piggy will ever ask for your password.
π Check the address bar. Copycat sites are the oldest trick going.
π¨ Report anything odd through the chat. Anonymous, taken seriously.
Tips for being a great supporter π
DO β
π§ Read the description carefully before buying
π¬ Tell the creator you're a fan β they love hearing from supporters
π Aim higher β mid and premium tiers usually have the best value
π· Stick around β a recurring membership means far more than one-off support
π Support anonymously sometimes β surprise energy hits different
π± Bookmark their link
π¦ Use Pay by Bank β cheaper for you, identical for them
DON'T β
β Ask for stuff outside what's offered
β Be weird or boundary-crossing β creators are people, not products
β Demand refunds for things you've already accessed
β Threaten chargebacks to get free content
β Contact creators off-platform without their consent
β Share members-only content publicly
Be the supporter you'd want if you were a creator. β¨
Common questions π€
"Why is there a fee on top of what I'm supporting?"
Your total covers the creator's listed price plus platform and processing costs. The creator receives their listed price in full. β¨
"Where can I see the full fee breakdown?"
βFees Explained π§Ύπ· β we publish the lot. π
"Can I support multiple creators?"
As many as you want.
"Can I cancel a membership anytime?"
Yes. Account β memberships β cancel. Active to the end of your current billing period. No contracts.
"What if a creator leaves or goes quiet?"
Anything you've bought stays yours permanently. Creators must post at least 3 times every 28 days or recurring features pause automatically β so billing should stop before you notice.
"Can I gift a membership?"
Not currently.
"Why was my card declined?"
Insufficient funds Β· international transaction block (very common) Β· 3D Secure not completed Β· incorrect billing details. Try Pay by Bank β it skips card fraud rules entirely. Otherwise ring your bank. π
"My payment was blocked but my card is fine."
We run safety checks before payments reach the card networks. Your account shows your spend and current limits. When a Payment Fails π³π·
"Are receipts itemised for tax or expenses?"
Yes β creator, what you supported, and your total. π
"What's a Tip, exactly?"
Money sent because you want to. Nothing unlocked, nothing owed. US dollars, $5 to $1,000. π
"Can I become a creator after being a supporter?"
Absolutely. Loads did. π·
