Something's gone wrong with a purchase. Here's how to sort it. π
Start with the creator π·
On Spenny Piggy, you buy from the creator β not from us. They're the merchant on every sale, which means they handle refunds.
There's a refund contact flow on their profile. Head there, use it, and it goes straight to them with your purchase already attached β no digging out order numbers, no explaining who you are.
It's also the fastest route. They can see the sale, see what was delivered, and sort it in minutes. β‘
You can still come to us π¬
If the creator isn't responding, something's clearly wrong, or you'd just rather talk to us β chat bubble, bottom-right.
Bring:
π§Ύ Your order reference (on your receipt email)
π§ The email you used at checkout
βοΈ What went wrong, briefly
48-hour target on refund requests. Most are dealt with well inside that. β±οΈ
You're never stuck. The creator is the first stop, not the only one. β
When a refund is the right answer β
β
The content never arrived and isn't in your email or spam
β
It wasn't what was described β wrong format, missing items, not what the listing said
β
The file is corrupted or genuinely won't open
β
You were charged twice for the same thing
β
A recurring payment was taken after you cancelled
When it probably isn't β
β You changed your mind after receiving it β digital content can't be un-received
β You didn't read the description
β You wanted something different from what was clearly listed
β You've cancelled a membership β cancelling stops future payments, it doesn't refund the current period
Not us being difficult. The creator made the thing and delivered it. If it's as described, they've held up their end. π·
Before you ask β two quick checks π
1. Check your spam folder. Nine times out of ten "it never arrived" means the receipt email is sitting there with the download link in it. π©
2. Try a different browser or device if a download won't open. Large files especially.

Everything is recorded π
Worth knowing, because it works in everyone's favour.
Every transaction on this platform captures the full picture automatically:
π§Ύ What was bought, for how much, and when
π¦ What was delivered, and the moment it landed
βοΈ The listing description as it stood at the point of sale
π¬ The conversation, on-platform
For you: if something genuinely wasn't delivered, or wasn't what was described, the records show it. You don't have to argue β the evidence is already there.
For creators: it means a refund claim that isn't genuine doesn't succeed. Someone who received exactly what was listed, on time, can't claim otherwise β because the delivery log says so. π‘οΈ
Nobody has to take anybody's word for it. That's the point. β
Please don't go to your bank first π
We know it feels like the fast route. It isn't.
A chargeback takes weeks, and while it's investigated you have neither the money nor the content.
And it hurts the creator badly. The amount is pulled from their balance immediately, they're charged a dispute fee β whether they win or lose β and it counts against their account. Enough of them and their ability to take payments gets restricted.
Most things get fixed the same day through the creator's profile or our chat. One message, and nobody gets hurt. π¬
If a payment was actually fraudulent π¨
Different situation β someone used your card without permission.
Tell us immediately, and tell your bank. We'd rather hear it from you first so we can stop anything else happening on that card. See Scams & Staying Safe π΅οΈπ·.
Common questions π€
"Why does the creator handle refunds and not you?"
Because they're the merchant β they sold you the content, so the sale and the refund are theirs. It also means they can sort it faster than we can. If they don't, we're right here. π·
"How long does a refund take to appear?"
Once processed it returns to the original payment method. Card refunds typically take a few working days on your bank's side. Pay by Bank returns to the account you paid from. π¦
"Do I get the fees back too?"
The listed price is returned. Processing costs already spent moving the payment aren't recoverable.
"I bought as a guest β can I still get a refund?"
Yes. Use the creator's refund contact flow, or message us with your order reference and the email you used. πͺ
"The creator isn't responding."
Message us. You don't need to keep chasing. π¬
"I've been billed after cancelling."
Send us the date and your account email. If the timing shows it shouldn't have gone, we'll sort it.
"Can I get a refund on a Paid Task?"
If what was delivered doesn't match what was agreed, raise it with the creator with the original request and what arrived. Custom work is judged against the brief.
TL;DR π―
Start with the creator β there's a refund contact flow on their profile π·
You can still come to us if they don't respond. 48-hour target. π¬
Check spam first π©
Refunds are for undelivered, wrong, or broken β not changed minds
Every delivery is recorded, so genuine claims are easy and false ones don't land π
Don't go to your bank first π
Talk to the creator. Then talk to us. Both beat a chargeback. ππ·
