Anything recurring needs somewhere to live. You need to see what you're paying for, update your card, and cancel whenever you want. That needs an account — and honestly, you'd want one. Recurring payments you can't see or stop are how people get burned. 🐷

Paid Tasks need one because there's a conversation involved — a request, an acceptance, a delivery.

If you create an account there's a one-off £1 card verification fee — not a deposit, not refundable. It funds a manual check on your card.
