Updated yesterday

A "500 Something Went Wrong" error is almost always caused by an outdated browser, a cached page conflict, or a temporary connection issue. Work through these steps in order:

Step 1: Refresh and Retry

Do a hard refresh: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac). If the error persists, close your browser completely and reopen it.

Step 2: Update Your Browser

An outdated browser is the most common cause. Check for updates:

  • Chrome: Menu (⋮) → Help → About Google Chrome

  • Safari: Apple menu → System Preferences → Software Update

  • Firefox: Menu (≡) → Help → About Firefox

Install any available update, then relaunch and try again.

Step 3: Clear Your Cache

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cached images & Cookies → Clear data

  • Safari: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data

  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear Data

After clearing, refresh Splash and try again.

Step 4: Try a Different Browser or Device

Google Chrome is recommended for the best compatibility. If the error only appears on one browser, it's browser-specific. Try Chrome on the same device, or log in from a different device entirely.

Step 5: Check Your Connection

Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out a network issue. Corporate or secured Wi-Fi can sometimes cause this error — try a home network or mobile hotspot.
