Step-by-Step Login Troubleshooting Checklist

If you're having trouble logging in, work through the steps below in order. Most login issues can be resolved by one of these fixes.

✅ Step 1: Check Your Email Address

  • Make sure you're using the email address associated with your account

  • Look out for common typos (e.g., .con instead of .com)

  • If you signed up with Google or Apple, try using those login buttons instead of entering your email manually

✅ Step 2: Disable Autofill

Autofill can enter outdated credentials without you realizing it.

  • Chrome: Go to Settings → Autofill → Passwords and remove any saved entry for our site

  • Safari: Go to Settings → Passwords, find and delete the saved entry

  • Firefox: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Saved Logins and remove the entry

  • Once cleared, type your credentials manually

✅ Step 3: Clear Your Browser Cache & Cookies

Old cached data can interfere with logins.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear Browsing Data → check Cookies and Cached Images → Clear Data

  • Safari: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data

  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear Data

  • After clearing, close and reopen your browser, then try logging in again

✅ Step 4: Disable Ad Blockers & Browser Extensions

Ad blockers and privacy extensions can block login scripts from running properly.

  • Temporarily disable any ad blocker extensions (e.g., uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus)

  • Disable other privacy extensions like Privacy Badger or Ghostery

  • Try logging in again. If it works, whitelist our site in your ad blocker

✅ Step 5: Disable or Pause Your VPN

VPNs can trigger geo-based security checks that block login attempts.

  • Temporarily turn off your VPN

  • Attempt to log in again from your regular network connection

✅ Step 6: Try a Different Browser or Device

  • If the issue only happens on one browser, the problem is likely browser-specific

  • Try Chrome, Firefox, or Safari as an alternative

  • Try logging in from your mobile device or another computer

✅ Step 7: Try Incognito / Private Mode

This bypasses extensions and cached data entirely.

  • Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) / Cmd + Shift + N (Mac)

  • Safari: File → New Private Window

  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows) / Cmd + Shift + P (Mac)
