How to Update Your Physical Address

How to update your physical address on Splash Sports — what documents are accepted, how to submit them, and why address verification is required.

Updated yesterday

To update your address on Splash Sports, you'll need to provide a document that proves your current residence. This is required for KYC compliance and ensures check withdrawals are sent to the correct address.

Step 1: Gather Your Proof of Residence

Provide one of the following documents, dated within the past 60 days:

  • Utility bill (electric, gas, water, internet)

  • Phone bill

  • Rent or mortgage statement

  • Credit card or bank statement

  • USPS Change of Address confirmation

Not accepted: Voter registration cards, paychecks, or salary slips.

The document must clearly show your full name, current address, and the document date. A photo, scan, or screenshot is fine.

Step 2: Send It to Support

Email your document to support@splashsports.com along with:

  • Your account email address

  • Your new address

Our team will verify and update your address — we'll confirm once it's done. You can also send the document through the Splash chat widget.

Common Questions

Why do I need to prove my address? Splash is a licensed platform required to maintain accurate user records for regulatory compliance. Address verification also protects you — ensuring any check withdrawals are mailed to the right place.

My ID has my old address. Do I need to update my ID first? No — a current Proof of Residence document is sufficient. You don't need to wait for a new ID.

What if my name isn't on any utility bills? If you share a residence and bills are in someone else's name, a rent/lease agreement in your name or a bank statement at your current address should work. Contact support if you're unsure what to submit.
