Step 1: Create a New Account Using the Correct Email
Direct updates to registered email addresses are now possible by contacting our support team. This improvement allows users to resolve email issues efficiently without creating a new account.
This enhancement ensures that all email updates maintain secure verification processes while simplifying account management. Users can now directly coordinate with support, facilitating seamless transitions without the need for creating or merging multiple accounts.
Simply contact Splash support to request an email update for your account. This process eliminates the need to create a new account to resolve email issues.
Note: If your original email is still active in our system, you may receive a duplicate account error. If so, do not proceed with creating the new account and contact support immediately.
If you made a mistake in your registered email, try logging in with the incorrect email first. This might allow you to access your account and correct the email by following subsequent steps.
Step 2: Contact Support
Once you've contacted support for the email update, ensure you provide the necessary details to proceed seamlessly. Splash support will use this information to process the email update or account merge efficiently.
This process is necessary for transferring your account data to the new account without losing any information.
The email address on your old account (with the incorrect email)
The email address on your new account (with the correct email)
Your legal first and last name
Your physical address to further assist verification if necessary
Step 3: We’ll Transfer Your Account Information
Our engineers will promptly transfer your account details from the old account to the new one, typically completing the process within a day. A password reset email will be sent to your new email address upon completion, allowing you to securely access your updated Splash account.
Account history
Balances (if applicable)
Any relevant league or contest information
Step 4: Old Account Removal
After the transfer is complete, test your new email login and ensure you receive all communications. If any issues persist, such as notifications sent to your old email, contact support for final adjustments.
Test logging in using your new email address to confirm the migration was successful.
Check that you're receiving all communications to your new email address.
If you continue receiving notifications at your old email, contact support to ensure your email is updated across all systems.
Password Reset: After updating your email, any password reset requests will be sent to your new email address. Use the reset link provided in your email to log into your account.
If you cannot recall the registered email or didn’t link one during registration, provide your legal name and physical address to the support team to locate your account.
