Step 1: Create a New Account Using the Correct Email
Currently, our system prohibits editing registered email addresses. This is a security and technical constraint designed to protect user data and account integrity. Users wishing to change their email address must follow an alternative process.
This safeguard ensures that all email updates go through a verified process to maintain account security and integrity.
Go to Splash Sports and sign up for a new account using your correct email address.
Note: If your original email is still active in our system, you may receive a duplicate account error. If so, do not proceed with creating the new account and contact support immediately.
If you made a mistake in your registered email, try logging in with the incorrect email first. This might allow you to access your account and correct the email by following subsequent steps.
Step 2: Contact Support
Once you've encountered the duplicate error or successfully created your new account, reach out to our support team and let us know:
This process is necessary for transferring your account data to the new account without losing any information.
The email address on your old account (with the incorrect email)
The email address on your new account (with the correct email)
Your legal first and last name
Your physical address to further assist verification if necessary
Step 3: We’ll Transfer Your Account Information
Our engineers will transfer your account details from the old account to the new one. This may include:
Account history
Balances (if applicable)
Any relevant league or contest information
Step 4: Old Account Removal
After the transfer is complete, we’ll delete the old account from our system. If your account is connected to a fake email generated through Apple ID, contact support to recover and update your account details. After our team completes your account migration:
Test logging in using your new email address to confirm the migration was successful.
Check that you're receiving all communications to your new email address.
If you continue receiving notifications at your old email, contact support to ensure your email is updated across all systems.
Password Reset: After updating your email, any password reset requests will be sent to your new email address. Use the reset link provided in your email to log into your account.
If you cannot recall the registered email or didn’t link one during registration, provide your legal name and physical address to the support team to locate your account.
