How to Share Your Location on an iPhone

How to enable location sharing for Splash Sports on an iPhone — steps for the app, Safari, and Chrome, plus how to fix it if you already denied access.

Updated yesterday

Splash Sports needs access to your device's location to verify that you're in an eligible state or province. Follow the steps below based on how you're accessing Splash on your iPhone.

Using the Splash Sports iOS App

  1. Open iPhone Settings

  2. Tap Privacy & SecurityLocation Services

  3. Make sure Location Services is toggled On

  4. Scroll down and tap Splash Sports

  5. Select While Using the App

  6. Toggle Precise Location to On

  7. Reopen the Splash Sports app — when prompted, tap Allow

Using Safari on iPhone

  1. Open iPhone Settings

  2. Tap Privacy & SecurityLocation Services

  3. Make sure Location Services is toggled On

  4. Scroll down and tap Safari Websites

  5. Select While Using the App

  6. Toggle Precise Location to On

  7. Open splashsports.com in Safari and tap Allow when prompted

Using Chrome on iPhone

  1. Open iPhone Settings

  2. Tap Privacy & SecurityLocation Services

  3. Make sure Location Services is toggled On

  4. Scroll down and tap Chrome

  5. Select While Using the App

  6. Toggle Precise Location to On

  7. Open splashsports.com in Chrome and tap Allow when prompted

Previously Tapped "Don't Allow"?

If you already denied location access and the prompt won't reappear, reset your location permissions:

  1. Go to SettingsGeneral

  2. Scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPhoneReset

  3. Choose Reset Location & Privacy

  4. Enter your passcode if prompted

  5. Reopen the Splash Sports app or website — the permission prompt will appear again

  6. Tap Allow

⚠️ This resets location permissions for all apps on your iPhone, not just Splash. You'll be re-prompted by other apps too.

Also check:

  • Your VPN is fully disconnected — VPNs override your real location and must be off

  • Any ad blockers are temporarily disabled

  • You're on home Wi-Fi or cellular data, not a corporate or secured network
