Withdrawal Options on Splash Sports

What Are the Different Methods to Withdraw Money from Splash?

Splash offers multiple methods for users to withdraw money from their accounts. This guide explains these methods, including important details and limitations to ensure a smooth transaction process.

Withdrawal Methods

1. PayPal/Venmo Transfers

If you choose to withdraw to PayPal/Venmo, the funds will be deposited into the same PayPal account that you used for your deposit. Ensure that your PayPal/Venmo account is properly linked to your Splash account to avoid issues. To withdraw funds specifically via Venmo, you must first make a deposit using Venmo. Once this prerequisite is fulfilled, select Venmo from the withdrawal options in your account and confirm the transaction details to complete the process.

Processing Times for Withdrawals

Withdrawals follow a two-step processing timeline:

  1. Splash's Processing: Requests are handled Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm EST, and typically processed within 24–48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).

  2. Financial Institution Processing: Once Splash processes the withdrawal, it may take 3–5 additional business days for Venmo or other banking institutions to deposit the funds, though some may process faster.

Troubleshooting with Venmo Withdrawals

  • Greyed-out Venmo Option: Ensure you have made at least one deposit using Venmo before selecting it for withdrawals.

  • Withdrawal Delays: Allow both Splash processing time (24–48 hours) and financial institution processing time (3–5 business days). If these periods haven’t elapsed, the delay may still be normal.

  • Verifying Withdrawal Account: The withdrawal will go to the Venmo account you originally used for depositing. Double-check this by reviewing your Venmo transaction history.

2. Debit Card Withdrawals

You can withdraw money directly to a debit card tied to your Splash account. Note that credit cards, however, are not supported for withdrawals. If you encounter issues with card-based transactions, contact support for assistance.

3. Check Withdrawals

Key Limitations

  • PayPal Accounts: Make sure the account linked for deposits is active because withdrawals will follow the same route.

  • No Credit Card Withdrawals: Credit cards cannot be used for withdrawals; only debit cards are supported.

  • No Apple Pay Withdrawals: Apple Pay cannot be used for withdrawals

  • Venmo Deposit Requirement: Users must complete a deposit using Venmo before it becomes available as a withdrawal option.

Summary

Splash supports PayPal, Venmo, and debit card withdrawals, with limitations such as the non-availability of credit card withdrawals and the prerequisites for Venmo withdrawals. Understanding these options, restrictions, and troubleshooting processes helps ensure a seamless withdrawal experience. For further assistance, be sure to contact the Splash support team.
