How to Withdrawal from You Splash Account

Updated over a week ago

Hereโ€™s a quick guide to help you make a withdrawal from your account:

โœ… Steps to Withdraw:

  1. Log in to your Splash account

  2. Click My Channel

  3. Tap the settings/tool icon in the upper right corner

  4. Select Withdraw and follow the on-screen instructions

๐Ÿ’ณ Withdrawal Methods:

You can withdraw to the following:

  • Debit card

  • PayPal

  • Venmo

  • Bank account

  • Check

๐Ÿ” Note: To withdraw to a debit card, PayPal, Venmo, or bank account, you must have previously made a deposit using that method. This policy ensures that the selected payment method is registered and verified for secure transactions. Ensure that the deposit matches the method you wish to use for withdrawal to avoid any issues. Without a prior deposit, these withdrawal options will not appear as eligible in your account. This requirement serves as an additional security measure to verify that the payment method is valid and can process withdrawals smoothly.

โŒ We do not support withdrawals to credit cards or Apple Pay.

๐ŸŒ Important Platform Tip:

Our upgraded online banking system requires a deposit first to enable withdrawals. To access this feature, please use a computer or mobile web browser โ€” itโ€™s not available in the app. The platform's design prioritizes security and functionality, ensuring deposit registration and withdrawal accessibility. For an optimized experience, avoid using unsupported browsers or accessing through the app. The deposit-first requirement is essential for verifying the selected payment method and preventing fraudulent transactions. This design focuses on enhancing secure access to transactions and withdrawal processes.

โฑ๏ธ Processing Times

Withdrawals are processed within 24โ€“48 hours by Splash. Please note that it may take an additional 3โ€“5 business days for your financial institution to finalize the transaction. Splash processes withdrawal requests between Monday to Friday, 9 amโ€“5 pm EST, excluding weekends and public holidays. Additionally, during high-demand periods such as large contests or events, processing may take longer than the standard timeframe. Ensure to account for potential delays if requesting during these times.

โ“ Troubleshooting

If you are unable to complete a withdrawal, here are some common issues and their solutions:

  • Unregistered Method: Ensure you've deposited using the same payment method before attempting a withdrawal.

  • Unsupported Method: Verify that you're not trying to withdraw to a credit card or through Apple Pay.

  • Accessing the Platform: Make sure to use a computer or mobile browser, as the app doesn't currently support withdrawals.

  • Processing Times: Be aware of delays; withdrawals are processed in 24โ€“48 hours, with additional time required by financial institutions.- Venmo-Specific Issues: Ensure you have made a deposit using Venmo before attempting a withdrawal. Errors like "RECEIVER_ACCOUNT_INVALID" may occur due to account issues; contact Venmo support if necessary.

  • PayPal-Specific Issues: If withdrawals via PayPal fail, consider linking your bank account and initiating a small test deposit to enable withdrawals. Use the verified method for subsequent transactions.

  • Verification Options: Visit your "Transaction History" or "My Account" page on Splash to monitor withdrawal statuses. If a withdrawal is no longer marked pending, it has been processed; contact your financial institution for further assistance with delays.

  • Troubleshooting Cancellations: Withdrawals through unsupported methods may be canceled. To prevent this, use registered withdrawal methods or opt for a mailed check.

  • Failed Withdrawal Verification: If a withdrawal fails, funds typically return to your Splash Wallet. Check 'My Account' โ†’ 'Transaction History' to verify. If funds are back in your wallet, submit a new withdrawal request.

  • Credit Card Deposit Limitations: Withdrawals cannot be processed to credit cards used for deposits. Credit card deposits will be refunded to the original payment method only.

  • Check Option for Credit Cards: If deposits are made with a credit card, you can withdraw funds via a check. Ensure that your account details are accurate when requesting a withdrawal check.

  • Checking for Fund Usage: If funds appear missing after a failed withdrawal, verify if they were allocated to other transactions, like slip entries in your account activity.

Tracking Your Withdrawal

Monitor your withdrawal progress easily on your Splash profile. Under the 'Transaction History' or 'My Account' page, check for updates on pending or processed requests. For additional assistance, contact the Splash support team. If you notice a withdrawal request has failed, verify if the funds have returned to your wallet. When reviewing your transaction history, also check for:

  • Any offsets or adjustments in linked payment accounts (like PayPal)

  • Fund allocation to other transactions after a failed withdrawal

  • Status changes from "pending" to "processed" or "failed"
