Everything commissioners need to know to get up and running on Splash Sports — especially if you're coming from OFP (Official Football Pool).

Where Are My Contests?

All your contests — active, past, and migrated from OFP — live in the Commissioner tab.

Website: Commissioner tab in the main navigation
iOS/Android app: Commissioner tab in the bottom navigation bar
Mobile web: Tap the menu icon (☰ top right) → Commissioner tab

Active contests appear under the Active tab. Past and completed contests are under the Final tab.

If you just migrated from OFP and can't see your contests, make sure you're logged in with the same email address you used on OFP. If they're still not showing, email support@splashsports.com and we'll locate them for you.

How to Create a New Contest

Go to the Commissioner tab and select Create a Contest
Choose your contest format (e.g. NFL Survivor, NFL Squares, March Madness Bracket, World Cup Bracket)
Select "I'll collect entries and handle payments on my own" for Entertainment-Only (self-managed) contests
Configure your settings — scoring, entry limits, tiebreakers, and contest name
Publish your contest and invite your members

Note: Entertainment-Only contests are self-managed — entry fees and payouts are handled by the commissioner outside of Splash Sports.

How to Restart a Contest from Last Season

Go to the Commissioner tab → Final
Find your past contest and click Restart
Review and update your settings — including scoring, contest name, entry limits, and tiebreakers
Save and publish your contest
Send invites to your members

Members will receive a notification and can find the invite under My Contests → Invites.

How to Manage Your Contest

Go to Commissioner tab → Active → Manage on your contest. From there you can access:

Invites Manager — send and track invites
Entrants Manager — view entries, picks, and member details
Settings — edit contest name, description, and other eligible settings
Chat — message participants (app only; not available on web)

Contest Formats & Availability

Can I run Entertainment-Only (EO) contests?
Yes — during contest creation, select "I'll collect entries and handle payments on my own". This unlocks self-managed contest options including NFL Squares, NFL Margin, CFL/NFL combo, and other formats not available as real-money contests.

Can I still run NFL Survivor or CFB Survivor?
Yes — Team Survivor contests are available with the same settings as before. Find them in the contest creation flow.

Are NFL Squares, NFL 33, or NFL Margin contests available?
Yes, as self-managed (Entertainment-Only) contests. Find them in the contest creation flow or restart a past version from the Final tab.

Questions Your Members May Ask

As a commissioner, your members may come to you with questions. Here are the most common ones and how to answer them:

How do I find my invite?
Members receive a notification when invited. They can also find pending invites under My Contests → Invites at the top of the screen. If they can't find active contests, they should check My Contests → Active or refresh the app.

Why is there a red dot on my avatar?
That means there are new notifications. Tap the avatar to review them.

Where are my pick reminders?
Pick reminders appear at the top of the home page. Tap View All to see all contests that need picks.

I can't find a past contest.
For completed contests, check My Contests → Final. If it's still missing, the commissioner should contact support@splashsports.com.

Coming from OFP (Official Football Pool)?

The OFP dashboard and app have been discontinued. All contests are now on Splash Sports at app.splashsports.com or via the Splash Sports app.

Logging in for the first time on Splash Sports:

Go to app.splashsports.com or open the Splash Sports app
Select Forgot Password and enter your OFP email address
Check your email and follow the link to set a new password
Log in — your contests and history will be waiting in the Commissioner tab

Do not create a new account — this will result in a separate account with no contest history. Always use your existing OFP email to log in.

Username conflicts: If your OFP username is already taken on Splash Sports, you'll be prompted to choose a new one. Simply add numbers or letters to make it unique.

"My Channel" is now "My Profile" — access it via your avatar → Account Settings → My Profile.
