Step-by-Step
Open the verification link on your mobile device — or scan the QR code with your phone if you're on desktop
Follow the on-screen prompts to scan your government-issued photo ID (driver's license or passport) — front and back
Take a selfie if prompted — use good lighting, no sunglasses or hats
Submit and wait — verification typically confirms within a few minutes
⚠️ The process uses live camera scanning. Screenshots or static images of your ID will not be accepted — use your phone's camera directly.
ID Requirements
Must be valid and unexpired
Must be a government-issued photo ID — driver's license or passport
The name and address on your ID must exactly match your Splash account — even small differences (middle name, abbreviated street) can cause rejection
If your ID has an old address, you'll also need a Proof of Residence dated within the past 60 days (utility bill, bank statement, etc.).
Tips for Success
Place your ID on a plain, light-colored surface
Avoid glare, shadows, or holding the ID at an angle
All four edges must be fully visible in the frame
Common Issues
Verification link expired? Links expire after 24 hours. See Have an Expired Verification Link?
Verification rejected? Check that your name and address match your Splash account exactly. If your address doesn't match, submit a Proof of Residence. Retake your ID photo in better lighting and resubmit.
Don't see a verification option? Your account may already be verified. Check your account settings — if it still shows unverified, contact support.
After Verification
You'll receive a confirmation and your full account features — deposits, withdrawals, and real-money contests — will be unlocked. You won't need to verify again unless specifically requested.
