My Account Is Locked — What Do I Do?

Why your Splash Sports account may be locked and how to get it reactivated — common causes, false positives, and what to send support.

Updated yesterday

If your Splash Sports account is locked and you can't log in, here's what causes it and how to get back in.

Why Accounts Get Locked

  • Multiple accounts detected — Splash enforces a strict one-account-per-user policy. If our system finds more than one account linked to the same person, all associated accounts may be locked.

  • VPN or IP-masking service detected — using a VPN while accessing Splash can trigger a security lock.

  • Chargeback filed — if a chargeback was initiated on a deposit, your account is locked pending review.

  • Suspicious or unusual activity — our Trust & Safety team monitors for patterns that may indicate fraud or rule violations. Your account may be locked while we investigate.

I Only Have One Account — Why Was I Flagged?

Legitimate users are sometimes flagged due to:

  • Shared devices or household Wi-Fi (another person in your home may have an account)

  • A VPN that was active at login, even briefly

  • Unusual login patterns (e.g., logging in from multiple states in a short period)

If you believe your account was locked in error, contact support — we'll review your case and can typically resolve it quickly.

How to Get Your Account Reactivated

  • The email address on your account

  • A brief explanation of why you believe the lock was in error

  • Any documentation requested (government-issued ID or proof of residence)

Our Trust & Safety team will review and respond as quickly as possible.

Can I Have More Than One Account?

No. Each person is permitted one Splash Sports account. Operating multiple accounts — knowingly or not — violates our Terms of Service and may result in permanent suspension.
