Troubleshooting Login Errors — What Each Message Means

What common Splash Sports login errors mean and how to fix them — Try Again Later, Invalid Credentials, Account Not Found, Account Locked, and Request Blocked.

Seeing an error when trying to log in? Here's what each message means and exactly what to do.


"Try Again Later"

This usually means a security check flagged your device, browser, or network. Common causes: VPN active, ad blocker interfering, or a temporary issue on our end.

What to do:

  1. Turn off any VPN completely

  2. Disable ad blockers temporarily

  3. Wait 15–30 minutes and try again


"Invalid Credentials"

The email or password you entered doesn't match our records.

What to do:

  1. Double-check for typos in your email (e.g., .con instead of .com)

  2. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use those login buttons instead of typing your email

  3. Clear your browser's saved autofill for Splash — it may be filling in an old password

"Account Not Found"

The email you're using isn't linked to an active Splash account. If you migrated from RunYourPool or OfficeFootballPool, your email may have changed.

What to do:

  1. Search your inbox for any past email from splashsports.com to confirm which address you used

  2. Try the Forgot Password flow with any other email you may have used

  3. If you can't locate your account, email support@splashsports.com with your full name and we'll track it down


"Your Account Has Been Locked"

Accounts lock automatically after multiple failed login attempts as a security measure.

What to do:

  1. Wait 30 minutes and try again, or

"Request Blocked"
