If your contest isn't appearing where you expect it, or members are having trouble finding or joining it, here's how to troubleshoot the most common issues.
Contest Not Showing in Commissioner Tab
Check the right tab: Active contests are under Commissioner → Active. Completed contests are under Final. Drafts that haven't been published yet won't appear in Active.
Service fee unpaid: If you haven't completed the commissioner service fee payment, your contest may not be fully live. Go to Commissioner → Active and look for a payment prompt.
Wrong account: Make sure you're logged in with the same email you used to create the contest.
Members Can't Find or Join the Contest
Invite link not shared: Members must use your specific invite link to join — they can't search for your contest publicly unless you've made it public. Go to Commissioner → Active → Manage → Invites Manager to copy and share the link.
Contest is full: If you set a maximum entry limit and it's been reached, new members won't be able to join. Increase the limit in Commissioner → Active → Manage → Settings.
Contest hasn't been published yet: If the contest is still in draft or awaiting fee payment, the invite link won't work. Complete setup and payment first.
Member using wrong email: If a member joined via an invite sent to a different email than their Splash account, their entry may be under that email.
Members Didn't Receive Their Invite
Invite emails from Splash can sometimes land in spam. Advise members to:
Check their Spam or Junk folder
Look under My Contests → Invites in the Splash app or website — the invite appears there even if the email didn't arrive
If email delivery is unreliable, use the Download CSV option in the Invites Manager to get email addresses and send a direct email yourself with the invite link.
Member Picks Not Showing
Picks are not publicly visible until after the official pick deadline passes. Before the deadline, only the commissioner can see pick status in the Entrants Manager. See How to Check If Your Members Have Made Their Picks.
Leaderboard Not Loading
The leaderboard populates after the contest begins and picks are locked. On the first day of a contest, it may take a short time to populate as results come in. If the leaderboard isn't loading after games have concluded, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache. If the issue persists, email support@splashsports.com.
