Activating your kid’s Spriggy prepaid Visa card is quick and easy, but only a Primary Parent (the parent who signed up to Spriggy and requested the card be issued) can do this.
Before you start, check that you’re using the most updated version of the Spriggy app.
If you’re activating your child’s first Spriggy Card:
Log in to the Spriggy Pocket Money app using your Parent Login.
Swipe right or left and find the profile of your child whose card needs activating.
Tap 'Activate [your child’s name] Card'.
Enter the last 4 digits of their Spriggy Card and tap 'Activate Card'.
Set the PIN for their card.
If you’re activating a Replacement Card:
Log in to the Spriggy Pocket Money app using your Parent Login.
Swipe right or left and find the profile of your child whose card needs activating.
Tap ‘Card Balance’
Tap 'Activate [your child’s name] Card'.
Enter the last 4 digits of their Spriggy Card and tap 'Activate Card'.
Set the PIN for their card.
All done!
Once the card is activated, you can transfer funds to it and your child can use it to make purchases. Your child will be able to change the PIN to their own PIN within the “Settings” screen in the Spriggy app.
