Why would a Game Master increase my session price?

Professional Game Masters may adjust their pricing over time to reflect the work and resources required to run a high-quality game.

Common reasons might include:

  • More Game Preparation and Customization

  • Improved Game Production Quality

    • GMs may invest in better maps, virtual tabletop assets, music, or software to enhance the experience.

  • Increased Experience and Demand

    • As GMs gain experience, reviews, and repeat players, pricing may change to reflect their expertise and limited availability.

  • Work Outside Session Time

    • Pricing reflects not just playtime, but also planning, communication, and campaign management.
