  1. At the bottom of every page on the StartPlaying FAQ, there is a blue chat beacon.

  2. Click on the chat beacon.

  3. Click Ask a Question

Support Hours

Our Support Goblins are available Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM EST.

Messages sent outside of these hours will be answered on the next business day. The Crystal Ball is available 24/7 for immediate help in the meantime.

Note: We do not offer phone support.


What is The Crystal Ball?

The Crystal Ball is StartPlaying's Support Bot. It is provided by our support software, Intercom.

It uses StartPlaying's FAQ pages and information provided by the Support Goblins to answer questions you have about the website.

The Crystal Ball will answer:

  • Questions via chat (24/7)

  • Questions via email (After working hours)

You will always be given the option to talk to our Support Goblins, even if you talk to The Crystal Ball first.
