One of the difficulties GMs face is getting someone to join a brand-new game as the first player. To help you land that crucial first signup, you can use the Early Bird Booking feature.
This gives the first TWO people to sign up a 50% discount on Session #1 👀
You should also know that Early Bird discounts only apply to games with Instant Book enabled.
How to Enable Early Bird Booking for a New Adventure
1. Go to your Listings page
2. Click the Add Adventure button
3. In the Add Adventure pop-up, click the boxes next to "Instantly Bookable?" and "Early Bird Booking?"
4. Click Save
You're good to go! ✅
How to Enable Early Bird Booking for an Existing Adventure
1. Go to your Listings page
2. Navigate to Your Adventure
You can click on the name of the Adventure, or click the 3 dots and click "Edit"
3. Under Details, scroll down to Listing options
Make sure "Instantly bookable?" and "Early bird booking?" are both checked
4. Click Save Changes
You're good to go! ✅
How does Early Bird Booking work with a free Session Zero?
One important thing to note about Early Bird Pricing is that it only activates for the first charged session.
If you set those players' prices to Free, Early Bird Pricing won't apply as there's nothing to discount. This can be a useful interaction to remember for GMs that like to offer free Session Zero for new campaigns.
