Great communication is one of the foundations to being a successful Game Master on StartPlaying. Game Masters have the option to message their players individually and as a group!
Where Do I Go to Send a New Message?
StartPlaying has a built in messaging feature, which makes it easy to stay in touch with your Players. To find where to start a message to a Player or group of Players, follow these steps:
Go to your "Listings" Page
Navigate to Your Adventure
You can click on the name of the Adventure, or click the 3 dots and click "Edit"
How to Message a Player Individually
Go to the "Players" section of your adventure
Click on the 3 dots on the line for the player you want to message
Then, click on "Message player"
Type the message to your player
When you are done with your message, click the blue "Send" button
How to Message a Group of Players
Want to send a Message to all the Players in an Adventure? Follow these steps:
Go to the "Schedule" section of your adventure
Click on the "Message group" button in the bottom right corner of the screen
Type the message to your group
When you are done with your message, click the blue "Send" button
