You can remove a player from any of your Adventures directly from your Listings page. Before removing a player, make sure you've considered whether a refund is needed — removing a player does not automatically issue one.

Will the player be refunded when I remove them?

No. Removing a player from your game does not automatically issue a refund.

If the player is owed a refund, you will need to issue it separately from your Payouts page before or after removing them.

How to Remove a Player from a Game

  1. Navigate to your Listings page

  2. Find the Adventure and click on its name, or click the three dots then select Edit

  3. Scroll to the Players section — you'll see a full list of all players in the Adventure

  4. Click the three dots next to the player's name

  5. Click Remove player

  6. In the pop-up, select a reason from the dropdown menu and add any additional context in the text box

  7. Click Remove to confirm

The player will be removed from the Adventure immediately.

What if the player has multiple seats?

We do not offer a way to remove just 1 seat for a player. If you remove a player from a game, you will be removing all seats they have in the game.

What if I just want to waive a player's charge for one session?

If you don't want to remove the player from the game entirely — for example, if they forgot to skip a session — you can set their price to zero for that session instead.

What if I want to block the player from booking with me again?

Removing a player from your game does not block them from booking future games with you.

If you need to report or block a player, see Reporting a User on StartPlaying.
