This guideline shows connecting two different browsers (Chrome and Brave) on the same desktop and connecting a mobile phone (Android's Chrome) to the Windows desktop's Chrome.
Login options do not matter.
With the latest release, the team created a new process of connecting devices to improve the user experience on Stobox 4. You need this to be able to log in to your account on any of your devices without creating backup files all the time.
Before, every login attempt on another device required users to upload an existing valid backup file and then regenerate it. The new backup file had to be used for login, while the previous one became invalid. When you wanted to go back to your original device, you had to repeat the process. It resulted in numerous backup files cluttering your device.
Now, there is a Connect your device option. The process still creates a new backup file, but you do not take it with you anywhere because the system now knows the device is yours, and it is approved.
See the process of connecting the device below [video or text].
NOTE
A "device" for Stobox 4 means actually a device (desktop, laptop, tablet, phone) or a browser (Chrome, Brave, Safari, etc)
You must have your original account open during the process.
Please don't rush and give your systems time.
