This article will show you how to change or add discounts to active subscriptions in Stripe. Please follow the instructions below.
Change or add a discount code
1. Select the customer in Stora, then click View on Stripe.
2. On the customer’s Stripe page, click … and choose Update subscription.
3. If there’s an existing discount, click the ... next to it and select Edit to change or replace the code.
OR, if there’s no discount, click Add coupon to add a code.
4. Select the applicable code from the drop‑down. These are discount codes created in Stora under Coupons.
5. Ensure Reset billing cycle and Prorate changes are unchecked.
6. Review the invoice summary on the right, then click Update subscription.
💡 The invoice summary shows the new amount before you update the subscription.
