Customise your checkout form

How to change text and show/hide fields on your customer checkout form

Updated yesterday

You can tailor your Storefront checkout to match your business needs. This guide explains checkout options, product display settings, form fields, insurance/protection text, and agreement text.

How to customise your checkout

  1. Go to the Booking Portal.

  2. Open Pages.

  3. Select Checkout.

  4. Choose the checkout flow that suits your goals.

Checkout flows

  • Simple checkout: A single-page form best for quick bookings. You cannot sell products in Simple checkout.

  • Advanced checkout: A modern, mobile-optimised flow that can improve conversion. Enables one-off and recurring product sales.

Product display settings

💡 This section is only visible if you are using the Advanced checkout option.

Use Advanced checkout to offer products during customer checkout. If you haven’t created products yet, see How to create Products in Stora.

  • Page title and Description: Controls the title and description shown when customers can select products during checkout.

💡 You'll find this info in your new booking emails and on the contacts profile.

Customise the insurance/protection section

If you sell insurance/protection, edit the short description shown during checkout and link to any relevant policy pages.

Customise the “Please note” section

Add a short “Please note” message that appears just before customers submit the form. Use it to highlight important steps customers must take or future charges they should expect.

Custom agreement text

The booking form includes agreement text at the bottom with a checkbox that customers must tick to complete the form. By default, Stora generates agreement text per unit type, asking customers to agree to your Terms, Privacy Policy, and Insurance/Protection Policy (if sold). You can replace this with your own custom agreement text.

When you enable custom agreement text, provide two versions:

Agreement with insurance/protection

Example wording:
“By booking, you agree to our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Insurance/Protection Policy. Please review the coverage limits and exclusions before proceeding.”

Agreement without insurance/protection

Example wording:
“By booking, you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.”

⚠️ When using custom agreement text, you are responsible for correct links and content. Visit your Storefront booking form and click each link to confirm it works.
