My private resale link says “no longer available” and my ticket is showing as pending

Why this happens

When someone clicks your private resale link and begins purchasing the ticket, the system will temporarily hold the ticket for them.

This hold lasts for up to 20 minutes, or until:

  • The purchase is completed, or

  • The checkout time expires

This process ensures the same ticket cannot be sold to multiple people at once.

Important: If you clicked the private resale link yourself (for example, to test it), this will also place the ticket on hold and mark it as pending.

In this case:

  • Wait approximately 20 minutes for the hold to expire

  • Then ask your friend to try the link again


What you should do

If you’ve shared the link with a friend:

  • Ask them to try again after the 20-minute checkout window has passed

  • Once the hold expires, the ticket will automatically become available again
