Street AI Document Reader
When uploading a certificate or contractor invoice in Street, you will see a banner in the 'upload file' section highlighting the use of Street AI to read the document, saving you time reading over the document and ensuring the data is accurately entered.
For more information on Safety Certificates, see this help article.
Certificates
When creating a certificate on a property or marking a Certificate Renewal maintenance job as complete you will see a banner in the 'upload file' section highlighting the use of Street AI to read the document. Simply upload the safety certificate file as normal and you will see Street AI reading over the document which will only take a few seconds.
Once finished, you will see the certificate type, valid from date and valid to date have auto-populated. However you can always click the 'remove auto-fill' button to clear the data and enter it manually.
Note - The reminder date is not populated by Street AI and will always be one month before the valid to date, giving you plenty of notice that the certificate is expiring.
When ready to proceed, save the certificate as normal and you're all done!
What if the file doesn't match the certificate type in Street?
There is also an added form of protection here that will highlight if the certificate you've uploaded is different to the certificate type selected.
For example, if you have a certificate renewal maintenance job that you've marked as an EICR but upload a Gas Safety file, you will see a warning banner.
This doesn't prevent you from saving, it is simply a warning to check you've uploaded the correct file.
Contractor Invoices
Street AI document reader can also be used when uploading a contractor invoice onto a maintenance job. It works in the same way as certificates, by uploading the contractor invoice file on the 'add invoice' section of the job and Street will auto-fill the invoice number, amount including and excluding VAT, invoice date and due date.
For more information on contractor invoices, see this help article.
