The Inspections Overview report shows how many inspections have been booked, completed and cancelled over a chosen period, along with who booked them and who completed them.
You can use it to keep track of inspection volumes across your branches and to see how the work is split across your team. To access the report, head to Reporting (left side panel, at the bottom) > Lettings section > Inspections Overview.
Note - The report only appears if your agency has lettings management enabled and your branch has inspections switched on.
For more information on inspection settings, see our Inspections (Settings) help article.
Inspection counts
Across the top of the report you'll see three counts for the period you've selected:
Booked - inspections with an appointment date falling within the period. This includes any that were later cancelled, so it reflects what was booked in during that time rather than what is currently booked.
Completed - inspections marked as completed within the period, counted on the date they were completed rather than their due or appointment date.
Cancelled - inspections cancelled within the period.
Completed by and Booked by
Below the counts are two charts showing the number of inspections against each person.
The Completed by chart has a toggle in the top right allowing you to switch between Inspector and User:
Inspector counts the inspection against whoever it was assigned to. Inspections without an inspector assigned will show as Unassigned.
User counts the inspection against whoever marked it as complete in Street.
These are two different measures so the charts won't always match — for example where one member of the team carries out the inspection and another completes it in Street afterwards.
The Booked by chart shows who put the appointment in the diary. If an inspection is rescheduled, it will still count against the person who originally booked it.
Filtering the report
The report opens showing the last month. You can change this using the date range filter, alongside:
Branch - if your agency has more than one branch.
Service Level - Let Only, Rent Collection, Fully Managed and Other. You can select more than one, and leaving it empty will include every service level.
For more information, see our Lettings Service Levels help article.
Viewing the data behind the charts
Each chart has a View Data option that swaps the charts for a table of the individual inspections behind them, showing the address, branch, tenancy, service level, appointment date, completion date, inspector, who completed it, who booked it and the status. Clicking an address will take you to that property. Click View Charts to switch back.
Exporting the report
With the data table showing, an Export button will appear in the filter bar. This exports the same columns as a CSV, using the filters you currently have applied. Unlike the table on screen, the export isn't capped.
Note - To access the export button you will need a role with the permission 'Allow this user to export data from Street' enabled. For more information, see our Roles and Permissions help article.
For more information on how inspections work, see our Inspections Overview help article. For other reports available, see our Reporting help centre collection.
