Patch
Your Patch is the area in which you would be prepared to carry out a market appraisal, that specifically relates to the Online Valuation Booking functionality. If a client tries to book a valuation but their property falls outside this area, they will not be presented with the opportunity to book an appraisal when using the online booking functionality and will instead just submit an enquiry, that will show in your enquiry centre.
We recommend you set your branch patches when you onboard with Street, even if you do not plan to have online valuation booking options toggled on straight away. This way, you know your radius is set if you do decide to toggle this on at a later date and the appointments you're requested to attend will be within your area.
If you do choose to enable online valuation bookings, you must also set up your company areas and which users should be used for sales and lettings valuations, as well as ensuring individual user availability is correctly set up.
Note - If a client attempts to book a valuation online for a property that falls within your branch patch but already exists in your system with a different owner, they will be unable to book and the valuation will come into your enquiry centre instead.
Patch Settings
To set up your Branch Patch, head to Settings (on the left side panel, at the bottom) > Branch Settings > Patch.
Note - To access the patch settings you will need to be a Branch or Company admin and have a role with the permission 'Allow this user to manage branch patches' enabled.
β
For more information, see our Roles and Permissions help article.
From the branch patches page you will see a breakdown of any patches that have been set up in your account. If you are a multi branch network, patches in your active branch will show in blue while patches in your other branches will show in grey.
Adding a new branch patch
You can add new branch patches either by postcode or drawing manually.
To add by postcode simply search the postcode, click add and the postcode area will appear on the map.

To draw manually click the 'draw new patch' button at the bottom right and click to add the first point on the map. From here, click each additional point to gradually draw your area out. When you are finished, come back to the first point and click on it again to lock that area. Finally, click 'save patch' and give the patch a name.

Deleting a Patch
You can delete any incorrect or unused patches by clicking the x button on the patch name.
