How to utilise Street's online valuation booking link

Online Valuation Bookings

Online valuation bookings allow prospective clients to either request a valuation appointment or book directly into your team's diary, depending on how you configure it. The booking form is powered by your team's availability and calendar, with everything feeding straight into Street.

Note - You will need to be a Branch or Company Admin to access these settings.

Online Valuation Booking Settings

To get started, head to Settings > Branch or Company Settings > Street App & Portal > then select Online Bookings. Here you'll see the Valuations section that opens a step-by-step setup wizard.

Setting up online valuation bookings

The wizard walks you through the following steps:

Valuation Duration

First you can set how long a valuation appointment takes in minutes. This is used to calculate the available time slots shown on the booking form.

Areas and Patches

Next you can review and configure the areas assigned to your team. When a client enters their address, Street matches it against your catchment areas to determine which valuers to show.

Requests or Bookings

The next setting lets you choose how clients can use the booking form.

  • Only allow requests - Selecting this means clients can only submit a request and your team would need to review to confirm a time

  • Allow bookings - Selecting this means clients can select a time slot and book directly into your diary

Note - The 'Allow bookings' option can only be enabled at branch level if it has been enabled at company level first. If it's turned off company-wide, the branch option will be unavailable.

Preview

On the preview page you can see a live preview of how the booking form will look to clients with your branding applied and can click on dates to see it in action.

How to direct clients

On the final page you will see your unique booking URL. You can copy this and add it to your website - most agents embed it behind a 'Book a Valuation' button - or use it however works best for your team.

Availability settings

For time slots to appear on the booking form, both branch availability and individual user availability need to be correctly configured. See the User Availability and Branch Availability help articles for more detail.

Global booking settings

Additional settings that apply across both valuations and viewings can be found in the Global Settings section of Street App & Portal.

  • Notice window - Here you can set the minimum number of hours' notice required before a booking can be made or changed.

  • Same-day bookings - You can also control whether clients can book a slot for the same day

Outside patch and no availability

If a client enters an address outside your catchment area, or no slots are available, they won't be able to complete a direct booking. An enquiry request is created instead and will appear in Enquiry Centre to review.
