Branch General Settings

Within you branch settings section you can edit the key settings relating to your branch. Head to Settings (left side panel at the bottom) > Branch Settings > General Settings.

Note - Branch General Settings will only be visible for Branch or Company Admins.

General Tab

Under the branch details section you can view your internal branch name as well as your current branch address.

Note - It is not possible to change your internal branch name or the branch address in your account. If you need either of these changed, please contact Street Support via live chat who can help.

Branch Details

In the branch details section you can set your public branch name (that is used in emails & SMS messages to customers), your branch email address, telephone number and web domain branch.

Default Brand

Additionally you can choose the default brand for your branch which controls your branch colours and logo on areas like emails, valuation template and property listings. For more information see our Brands help article.

Branch Disclaimer

You can also add branch disclaimer which will automatically be added to all of your property listings on the portals, showing at the bottom of the description area, such as 'All measurements are approximate' or 'No appliances or central heating systems referred to within these particulars have been tested' or 'Floorplans are for guide purposes only and all dimensions are approximate'.

General Preferences

In general preferences you can set the calendar start and end times which controls what times your branch calendar will start and end at. The times here don't control your availability for online bookings, it is simply a visual setting inside of Street.

Enforce Two Factor Authentication

If you have Two Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled, you can choose to enforce it for your branch here. This will require any user within that branch to setup or use 2FA to login to Street. For more information see our Two Factor Authentication help article.

Viewing Runs

You also have the option of enabling viewing runs. Viewing runs are a very specific method of handling your viewings, whereby you assign viewings to a 'run' and then assign that run to a individual user. Most agencies won't operate using this method so we would recommend disabling viewing runs, unless you are confident that is how you want to operate.

Online Valuation Bookings

Finally you have the option of enabling online valuation bookings for your branch here. This option will only be available if it has been enabled at company level first (via Company General Settings) . For more information see our Online Valuation Bookings help article.

Communication Preferences

Under communication preferences you can enable automated property match emails. If enabled, whenever a new applicant is added to Street, they will automatically be sent an email with all the properties that match their criteria. For more information, see our Applicant to Property Matching help article.

You also have the option of enabling auto responder. If enabled, applicants will receive an email from Street after submitting an enquiry via Rightmove or Zoopla - The email will contain a link to public property page. The content of this can be edited via your notification preferences either at branch or company level, in the 'enquiries' tab on edit notification content. For more information, see our Editing Notification Content help article.

Portals Tab

In the portals tab withing general branch settings, you will see a list of the portals that have been setup for your branch, along with the brand and portal brand ID.

Note - It is not possible to edit or add portal subscriptions in your account. If you need your portal subscriptions updated, please contact Street Support via live chat who can help.

You also have the option of adding Rightmove Tenancy Information. The information entered here will appear under the 'Tenancy info' pop up on each on your Lettings listings on Rightmove. Left blank, the pop up will continue to use Rightmove's default text.

Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
