Company General Settings
Within your company settings section, you can edit the key settings relating to your company. Head to Settings (left side panel at the bottom) > Company Settings > Company Settings.
Note - You will need to be a Company Admin to access the Company Settings section.
Company settings contains a variety of different feature toggles to control how your agency works in Street.
Disable Notifications
Toggling 'disable notifications' on will prevent all communications from being sent (email, SMS and WhatsApp). It's important to highlight that this is a network wide toggle and should only be used in very specific scenarios, such as if you manage your sales in Street and are looking to migrate your lettings over. In this case, you would likely disable all notifications while adding your lettings properties and tenancies etc to prevent landlords receiving any automated emails.
Enable Two Way Email
Toggling on two way email will allow client replies, to emails sent through Street, to pull into the activity stream where you can click 'reply to' to respond within Street, with your reply logged in the activity stream as well.
For more information, see our Two Way Email help article.
Enable Phone call Recordings / Transcribe Phone call Recordings
Toggling 'enable phone call recordings' on will automatically record and store the recordings of phone calls made in Street using the Twilio integration.
Toggling on 'transcribe phone call recordings' will also transcribe those calls and add this as a note in the activity stream on the relevant page.
Note - Call recording and transcribing is only possible on Street web version and is not yet currently available from the mobile app.
VAT Registered
Toggling on 'VAT registered' gives you access to set up your valuation and instruction fees with or without VAT. Typically, if your company is VAT registered, you should toggle this on.
VAT Inclusive
If 'VAT registered is toggled on, you will see the additional option for 'VAT Inclusive'. Toggling this on will set the default setting for any new instructions fees to include VAT. If you want instruction fees to exclude VAT by default, you should toggle this off.
VAT Presentation on Internal Reports
If VAT registered is toggled on, you will see another additional option to choose whether to show fees on internal reports and invoices including or excluding VAT. This setting does not affect valuation reports sent to vendors.
Valuation Report Fee Display
If VAT registered is toggled on, you will see another additional option to determine how VAT should show on valuation reports. You can choose between the fees showing as including VAT, excluding VAT or both.
Display Invoice Status Label
Toggling on 'display invoice status label' will show an additional display of the invoice's status (paid, unpaid or overdue) when viewing the invoice on the property's invoice page via info > invoices.
Autoconfirm Vacant Viewings
Toggling on the 'autoconfirm vacant viewings' toggle will automatically confirm viewings on behalf of the vendor, when property is vacant and a set of keys is present.
Display Property Performance Data to Consumers
Within a consumer's Street account, owners and landlords will have access to the property's performance on Rightmove. The property performance toggle in company settings allows you to choose whether to display this information or not.
SOS Target
As part of the Street Agent app there is an SOS feature. The SOS Target toggle in company settings controls who will be notified if an SOS signal is triggered by a colleague on the Agent Mobile App. If set to branch, only the signaller's branch will be notified. If set to company, every branch will be notified.
Automate Sales Offer Sending
The automate sales offer sending toggle allows you to control whether sales offers should be automatically relayed to the owner (sending the 'Sales offer put to vendor' notification) after a set number of hours. This setting is useful to prevent offers from being missed and not being sent to the owner.
Toggle the setting on and enter the number of hours before sending the offer.
If you want to manually control sending sales offers, ie marking as relayed from the sales offer page, you can leave this setting toggled off.
Note - If the offer has already been sent to the owner, this setting will have no effect on that sale.
Enable Disclosure of Personal Interest
Within your company general settings you can toggle the Disclosure of Personal Interest feature on if you choose to use it. When toggled on you will have the option of adding a 'Statement of personal interest' and choose whether this statement should show at the start or the end of the property description, for any properties owned by that person.
For more information, see our Disclosure of Personal Interest help article.
Memorandum of Sale
When enabled, the Memorandum of Sale toggle adds an additional, mandatory step when accepting a sales offer to generate and send the memorandum of sale immediately.
When accepting the offer and clicking continue you will see sales memorandum page where you can enter the normal 'sold subject to' and 'additional info' information and select who to send the memo to.
Note - If this feature is enabled and the vendor and/or buyer does not have a correspondence address and/or solicitor added, you will not be able to accept the sales offer.
This feature ensures consistency across your team, reduces the risk of delays or missed communications, and helps keep sales progressing smoothly.
If you prefer to review and send the Memorandum of Sale manually, after the point of accepting an offer, you can leave this setting turned off.
Enable Auto Property Withdrawal
The enable auto property withdrawal toggle allows you to automatically withdraw and remove a property listing from the portals if the property was listed without a valid EPC and a valid EPC is not added within 28 days after listing.
Default Marketing Consent
The default marketing consent can be set at a company level to control what this setting defaults to when creating a person in Street, choosing between yes, no, and not set.
Tip! You can also set whether the marketing consent is required or optional field via the Mandatory Fields feature.
The value selected will default on the create person page (however can still be changed from there).
